| Killymoon Rangers continued their build up for the new season with a useful work out against Fermanagh & Western side Drumbreen Rovers. This was the chance for the Killymoon management to have a look at some of the new players and give some match practice to a number of last year's squad just back into training. The first half was an even affair with the best chances falling to the visitors, but they were kept at bay by some excellent saves by Killymoon keeper Gareth Maguire. A rare Gareth McFarland goal on 30 minutes was the only thing that separated the teams at half time. |

| The flow of the second half was disrupted by the number of substitutions made, with few clear cut opportunities being created. Killymoon did extend their lead mid-way through the half when William Montgomery scored with a deflected shot from the edge of the Drumbreen penalty area. The visitors never gave up and pulled a goal back 5 minutes later after some good build up play. With no more scoring in the match the game finished 2-1 to the home side however, the result was of secondary importance as this was another good work out in preparation for the new season.
