After a run of poor results the Killymoon players showed true character with a hard fought win, on an excellent pitch, at Dollingstown. Despite the Killymoon managers making an number of changes to the team it didn't take long before the visitors took the lead. A strong run from Francisco Gomes caused a problem in the heart of the Dollingstown defence and the ball broke to Cameron Stewart, who laid it off to an inrushing David McMullan who placed the ball into an empty net. Most of the chances in the first half came from set plays with the home side's best effort requiring keeper Gareth Maguire to knock the ball onto the post before gathering it to ensure the visitors went into the break in front.
