| A team consisting of both first team and reserve team players entertained NI Intermediate League side Churchill at the MU Arena. The first half saw mainly res players on show and the visitors quickly went 2 up before Killymoon began to play themselves into the game. Second half appearances by Mulligan, Montgomery, Kilpatrick and McElhatton transformed the game and Rangers dominated most of the second period. The best move of the game saw new signing James Ferguson blast home McFarland's left wing cross and 'Moon really should have scored several more goals with Mulligan, Montgomery and McElhatton all going close. Churchill scored another goal on the break after 85 minutes but the real problem for Killymoon is their ongoing injury worries with Bogan and McMullan doubtful for the big opening game with Tobermore, while Mulligan, Watson and Ferguson are also all missing for saturday's inaugural IFA Championship game. |
