| Killymoon travelled to Castlederg on a cold frosty night, to play Tyrone rival Dergview on a heavy pitch, not helped by the snow and rain a few days earlier. |

Early in the first half Dergview had a free kick blocked by the Killymoon wall as the visitors took time to settle. Killymoon had a few half chances from Marc Stewart and a Lee Hunter shot from a Warren Smith cross. Dergview broke the deadlock on 15 minutes with a run and shot from midfield, with more than a hint of offside. The home side had the upper hand for most of the half, but as the half wore on Killymoon came more into the game. |

The second half was more even with both teams creating chances. Dergview missed a few good opportunities to increase the lead and they were made to pay when Killymoon got back on level terms on 64 minutes after Willie Ferguson beat 2 men and scored his first goal for the club from the edge of the penalty area. However, within 2 minutes Dergview were ahead again in an entertaining game. Both teams continued to create and not take their chances. Despite being reduced to 10 men after the sending off of Patrick McElhatton, Killymoon almost made Dergview pay for missing their chances, when in the injury time Warren Smith beat 2 men in the penalty box before shooting narrowly wide. |
