Managers Warwick and Fluke were left deeply frustrated for the second week in a row after a damaging result against league pacesetters Armagh Celtic in Reserve Division One.

Again the Reserves started the game in dominant fashion with stalwart Derek Hudson pulling the strings in midfield alongside Jeff Hall and Marc Stewart. With Chris Burns and Kyle Smith dominating their opposite numbers on the flanks Killymoon created several decent opportunities for Johnny Scott and Cameron Stewart in the opening fifteen minutes.

But it was a mistake in the Reserve's defence that gifted Armagh the opening goal on the twenty minute mark. In contrast to last week's reaction to going a goal down to Killowen, Killymoon lifted their heads and went at Armagh to try and level the game. Their effort to get back into the game was rewarded when Cameron Stewart drove an unstoppable shot past the Celtic keeper from twenty yards after thirty minutes. They should have been a goal up when Mark Freeburn and Jason Devlin collided with each other from a corner when a goal looked inevitable.

Into the second half this renewed confidence suffered a major set-back when Armagh's midfielder ghosted in totally unmarked from a free-kick to drive past the despairing Stephen McKernan in goal. On the hour mark a cross fumbled by McKernan under pressure gave Armagh their third. Scott and Stewart grafted away up front to try and get something out of the game. Again 'lady luck' seemed to desert the Reserves as a shot by Cameron Stewart hit the Armagh post, rolled along the line and hit the other post and into their keeper's hands. At 3-2 Killymoon may have got something out of the game at this stage.

Marty McCormack, Andrew Johnston and Brian O'Donnell entered the game but when Armagh struck their fourth it was game set and match. A disappointing outcome for the players and managers with Killymoon playing some neat football in spells and showing a lot of effort throughout the game. At this level communication, cutting out simple errors at the back and taking chances up front when they come are so important to gaining results. The management will work on these areas in the coming weeks and results will come.

TEAM: Stephen McKernan, Brian Smith, Mark Freeburn, Jason Devlin, Kyle Smith, Derek Hudson, Jeff Hall, Marc Stewart, Chris Burns, Johnny Scott, Cameron Stewart. Subs: Marty McCormack, Andrew Johnston, Brian O'Donnell.
