| Killymoon picked up their first win of the season with a
great display of football. Killymoon settled quicker and
within 5 minutes had great opportunities to score, two
attempts from P. McElhatton were well saved by Newtownabbey
goalkeeper. W. Watson and A. Young also came close. Newtownabbey
started to come into the game and after 15th minutes. They had a shot
from outside the box, but it was well saved by G. McElhatton.
Killymoon's hard work was soon to pay off after great efforts
from R.Donaghy and P. Elhatton went close. On the 22nd
minute the deadlock was broken. C. Stewart
won the ball in midfield passed to A .Young who played a
great ball to W.Wilson
to score into the right hand corner. |

| Killymoon were on fire
and it was 2-0 on the 24th minute. K. Smith's great ball over the
top saw P. McElhatton beat the off-side
trap to lob over the goalkeeper. Sub K. O'Neill replaced A. Young
after 27 mins. Some great defending from the back four saw Killymoon exert strong pressure and on the 33 minute the ball was played
into the box from C. Stewart and P.mcElhatton finished off for his 2nd goal. M.McCormack replace K.O'Neill in the 40th min. |

| The 2nd half started with a great run from S. Young into the box,
who passed to M. McCormack who shot went just wide. Both teams
made changes midway through the 2nd half.
A free-kick from A. Rea outside the box was well saved by keeper.
Then on the 71st min a
free-kick to Newtownabbey, the ball was lobbed into the box, Killymoon struggled
to clear the ball,
and shot from outside the box found the net to make it 3-1. G.Sloan was brought on for
P. McElhatton (75th min).
With 15 mins to go Killymoon went on the attack. A long throw
from K. Smith into the box and a fine
finish from R.Donaghy to make it 4-1. Then in the 85th minute G. Wilson played a
lovely ball to M. McCormack
who shot low into the left hand corner of the net. |

| After the match Co Manager, George Dardis, who was
man of the match last week, but didn't play today, praised the
players for their team work and the football they played
and said there was more to come but was delighted with the result. |
