| The start of the match was delayed by 45 minutes, as Red Star had a breakdown on their journey. Killymoon started brightly but failed to convert their early chances, and paid the price when Red Star scored with a well taken strike from the edge of the area (HT 0-1). |

| Killymoon started the second half in similar fashion to the first half. A tactical switch and a substitution by coach Brian Megarry paid dividends, when Martin Bogan playing centre forward scored the equalizer (1-1). Cameron Stewart now playing in mid field won a free kick on the edge of the penalty box. A superb strike from Ally Young gave Killymoon the lead (2-1). Richerd Donaghy scored the third goal (3-1) to seal the win, and runners up spot in the league. |
