After being three goals down with fifteen minutes to go Killymoon Rangers dramatically salvaged a draw against Limavady United last Saturday. A Warren Smith brace and an equaliser from Conall Kilpatrick gave Rangers only their third point of the season and delighted Joint Manager, Michael Wilson, " Ironically this was one of our most disappointing performances of the season as Limavady dominated the game for long periods and we struggled to create any clear cut chances. But I have to commend the players for their work ethic and never say die attitude. Many sides with our league record would have just laid down and accepted another defeat but our lads fought to the bitter end and really had our opponents on the back foot in the dying minutes. We have played much better and got nothing from matches this season so this was a welcome change of fortune for the players who have been so committed in their efforts in what has been a difficult first season of Irish League football."

Killymoon Reserves continued their recent good form with a three-two victory over Ballyclare North End in a league fixture. Two goals from Cameron Stewart and an own goal gave Rangers their third win in a row to continue their rise up the league table.

This Saturday Killymoon Rangers are in JJB Irish Cup action when they entertain Killyleagh YC at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena with the match kicking off at the earlier time of 1.30pm. This will be another tough assignment for the Cookstown team as Killyleagh are riding high in the Amateur League at present and have a good cup pedigree over recent seasons.

The Christmas Draw will be held on 18th December and tickets are available from any Club member, Ticket sellers are reminded that all monies and ticket stubs should be returned bu Saturday 13th December.

There are still a limited number of seats available for the supporters bus to the Bob Radcliffe Cup final on Boxing Day (kick-off 11am). Anyone interested in booking their place should contact David Reid on 07769815933.
